The Trinity Trailblazers had a rough start to the Christmas tournament, falling to the visiting team, El-Gahazi of Wayne, NJ. Despite an early lead, the size of the opposing team proved too much for the Blazers and they lost their first game after a 3 game winning streak. Peter Yamasaki, while battling a nasty stomach bug was still effective and led both teams in scoring with 24 points. Joey Lee gave a solid effort with 9 rebounds, 6 points, 3 steals, and 3 assists.
The Trailblazers face Bergen Charter Thursday night in the later game which will start at ~5:30 pm.
