The Trinity Trailblazers faced a very difficult opponent in Bergen Charter and lost 38-62. Bergen Charter's Rohan Afflick led all scores with over 20 points. Trinity challenged the charter school in the 1st, 3rd, and 4th quarter, but were outscored 25-2 in the 2nd quarter after a series of turnovers; the Blazers were never able to recover. Peter led Trinity's scoring with 16. It was a difficult game against a much larger opponent, but also provided a good learning opportunity for the Blazer's coach and players.
Trinity faces off Friday, Dec. 30th against Abundant Life Whippany at ~5:30 pm in their 3rd game of this Christmas Tourney. The Blazers' consolation game, versus the NJ Home School Asst., will be Saturday, Dec. 31st with the tip-off at 10:00 am.
