Trinity experienced a crushing loss against Abundant Life Nutley. In the Trailblazer's second conference game after the New Years, they came up short against a strong opponent. Nutley's Franca led all scores with 22, with Trinity's Peter Yamasaki pacing the 'Blazers with 15 points. Joey Lee ripped down 12 rebounds to go along with 7 points. The game started off slow for Trinity but strong second and third quarters allowed them to pull within 4 points towards the end of the 3rd quarter. AL Nutley responded with a run of their own and the Trailblazers couldn't get the lead down to single digits the remainder of the game.
Trinity faces Faith Christian away on Tuesday, January 10th on the second night of a back-to-back. Tip-off on Tuesday is set for 3:30 pm. The 'Blazers are looking to right the ship in conference play and get back to their winning ways.
