Trinity matched up against what could possible be the best team in the conference and came up short. The game started off strong for the Trailblazers, but the second quarter plagued them with turnovers and a lack of energy and urgency. Veritas pulled away at that point and never looked back, reeling off a 25-4 run that put the 'Blazers away. The 4th quarter showed a glimpse of effort by Trinity, outscoring Veritas 18-14 but it was too little too late. Peter Yamasaki tied with a Veritas player as high scorers with 19 points. Nicholas Yamasaki contributed in several categories with at least 3 assists, offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds, steals and points.
