The Trinity Trailblazers men's varsity basketball team is in the business of causing high blood pressure, anxiety, and distress. In another thriller that featured a tough-nosed, "bring your own guts" mentality,  Trinity was victorious over Harmony Christian Monday night. The Harmony men's team took the Trailblazers to task early on, sprouting out to a 13-3 lead in the first and caused many to wonder where the home team's minds were at. Trinity scrapped and clawed back into the game and was able to close out the second quarter only down by 5 points, 17-22. The third quarter revealed a gritty defensive effort by Trinity allowing the opponent to only score 6 points, while scoring 11 themselves. The third quarter ended 28-28 and set the fans up for another heart racing finish. Harmony started the quarter strong, reeling off a quick 7-2 run while resting some of their key starters. Trinity, undeterred, began to methodically punch holes in Harmony's defense fueled by Chris Lee who scored or assisted on 6 rally points in the attempted comeback. Trinity eventually gained the lead back, 36-35 and never looked back. Chris scored the final field goal for the Trailblazers putting Trinity ahead 38-35. After Harmony hit a free throw to draw within 2 points Joey Lee iced the game with 2 clutch free throws in the final seconds, essentially sealing the deal. Harmony was able to get off a desperate 3 that missed, but would have been too little, too late even if it had dropped because time had expired. Peter Yamasaki was the game high scorer with 16 points. Joey Lee and Nicholas Yamasaki had prolific defensive efforts, combing for 8 steals while holding their individual opponents to single digit scoring.

Final Score: TCS- 40, Harmony- 36
